Ocean Beach Arts and Craft Show

I will be out at Ocean Beach on Fire Island this weekend for the Annual Arts and Craft Show. Looking forward to meeting some people out there and showcasing/selling my work. I have recently designed and printed up the second series of the Long Island Town Type Map and also a Manhattan map. I’m actually picking them both up from the printer in a few hours. Im psyched to head over to The Printhouse and see how the final prints came out. But first I am at the office finishing up a 44 page catalog for the new Zoo York 2012 sunglass line that needs to be printed, perfect bound and in Vegas for Majic by next weekend. Needless to say it has been a hectic week.

I will have three new designs in total: Long Island and Manhattan which will both be signed and numbered and limited to 500 pieces, as well as a Fire Island Map.You can see all the new designs in the store and ready for immediate shipment.

Hope to see you out at in Ocean Beach.

LB Art and Craft Fair Roundup

Was great to meet all of you at the fair last weekend. I'm all caught up with emailing my new friends and shipping out all of the orders of goods that sold out. I also made a trek back to LB on Friday and personally dropped off all of the orders from the area.

While the show went great, i am already in the studio making some more things for the next fair on August 20-21.

Ireland Map Jigsaw Puzzle

I started prototyping some push-fit style jigsaw puzzles with a few rejects of the Ireland county map recently and am getting close to making something at a high enough quality to sell. Just need to work out a few last minute details to make it special.

Once i get the process down and kinks worked out, it’s onto the Long Island type map and then the Italy, Staten Island and Japan maps that are set to arrive at the end of the month. I am really looking forward to getting this together and seeing people’s reaction.

A quick video of me in the lab cutting up some pieces with my scroll saw.
